Senior backend engineer with 8 years of experience building production systems. Most recently I built backend for healthcare AI (Datlowe); before that, 6 years at Jamf/Wandera (mobile security, 70,000+ customers), where I grew from intern to Software Engineer II. What I can offer: - Backend design and development in Kotlin, Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, PostgreSQL) - Data integrations via REST, SOAP and HL7/FHIR - Database performance optimization (N+1 removal, indexing, Hibernate Entity Graphs) - Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD on AWS (Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions) - AI/LLM integration into products I'm looking for short-term, fully remote projects: backend APIs, data integrations, performance audits, CI/CD setup or AI integration. In my spare time I build my own project, where I built the entire frontend using AI, so I can work across the stack as well.
