I am a native speaker of English and I have been working as a proofreader and English language editor in Brno for 8 years. I have also been working as an English language teacher for 11 years. I have qualifications in proofreading, copy editing and teaching. Previous to this, I earned an MA in Modern European History and a BA in English Literature and History. I have extensive experience of working in the heritage and culture sector in the UK, and in science and technology institutions in the Czech Republic. I also work freelance regularly for the Brno Tourist Information Centre and Brno City Council, among others. I also have a qualification in graphic design, and an intermediate knowledge of Czech. I have an A2 certificate and am currently studying for B1.
