About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Data Integration Specialist with proven expertise in Infor System 21 and a strong understanding of Finance & Controlling processes. This freelance engagement will support the integration of Infor System 21 into a Microsoft Azure-based data architecture, enabling advanced reporting, analytics, and financial process optimization.

The role requires a unique hybrid of ERP knowledge, financial acumen, and technical integration skills, bridging the gap between business operations and modern cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Support the integration of Infor System 21 data into a Microsoft Azure environment.

Extract, transform, and prepare ERP data for analytics, reporting, and financial optimization use cases.

Collaborate with Finance/Controlling teams to translate business requirements into data pipelines and integration flows.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across ERP and cloud-based reporting solutions.

(Optional/Preferred) Implement Azure Data Factory ETL pipelines or contribute to Synapse Analytics development.

Advise on best practices for ODBC/JDBC connectivity, API integrations, or file-based data exchange (CSV, flat files).

Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Infor System 21 ERP.

Deep functional understanding of Finance and Controlling processes in ERP contexts.

Proven ability to extract and transform ERP data for external systems.

Experience working in cross-functional teams bridging IT and Finance.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
Microsoft Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake).

Experience with ETL pipeline development and data engineering practices.

Technical integration knowledge (ODBC/JDBC, APIs, flat-file exchanges).

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to translate business logic into technical solutions.

Location: Remote (occasional onsite workshops possible)
Start Date: 01.11.2025
End Date: 30.04.2026
Workload: 5 days per week
Duration: 6 months (with extension option)
