We are urgently hiring for a Managed File Transfer (IBM Sterling) Specialist!

"Job Description:-

Must-Have
• Extensive hands-on experience with administration (building/updating integrations) and support for IBM Sterling (Connect: Direct on Unix, Control Center)
• Hands-on experience in defining, developing, and delivering data transmission solutions (Enterprise level FTP and Fax products, e.g., MFT, MoveIT, RightFax)
• Experience in building automation jobs in JSCAPE.
• Experience in installation/ administration/ managing JSCAPE.
• RVS
Good-to-Have:
• experience upgrading Connect: Direct on Unix, Windows

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

• Setup new transmissions
o Configuration of accounts and file transfers
o Installation and configuration of the Connect: Direct connector
o Creating configuration in IBM Sterling/JSCAPE/RVS as defined in the architecture.
o Use of appropriate encryption
o Test solution in model, validate with customer/end user/vendor, monitor for a week before migrating to production
o Interface with internal and external customers to determine managed file transfer requirements

• Incident Management
o Any failures reported by CC should be taken care within the SLA based on the priority
o Retrigger files and/or fix the failures.
o Use Emergency Concept for critical jobs/files
o Read and debug code related to FTP, SFTP, PGP encryption/decryption, zip, etc.

• Change Management
o Any change in the production and pre-prod environment will be carried out through Change Management process.

• Problem Management
o Root cause identification – Any repetitive incident or major incident should go through Problem Management to identify root cause and mitigate

• Risk Management
o Identify Risks in the environment – End Of Life or known errors or customized legacy scripts/codes with no documentation
o Old hardware/software mitigation

• Certificate Management
o Update internal certs as needed
o Update Keys and/or certs based on external vendors
o Maintain repository of Certificates

• Password Management
o Any user accounts not managed through CyberArk should be reviewed and recertified periodically.

• Application upgrades
o Minor version upgrades on application to maintain application free from vulnerabilities and to ensure Vendor’s support
o Applying patches to application

• Vendor Engagement
o External suppliers and/or vendors should be engaged for/during the troubleshooting.

• Managed file transfer internal/external with Connect:Direct and RVS
• JSCAPE as multiprotocol server (SFTP/HTTPS) interface for passive external file transfer
• Manual file exchange with JSCAPE for personal file transfer
