My name is Ondřej, and I live in Prague, where I finish my master’s degree in Industrial design. During my studies, I have made full use of the possibility to change the studio to find out how different designers approach their work so I could compare and find my own way of work and design thinking. Also, it gave me the possibility to experience various branches, different materials and techniques, which was very enriching. Besides that, I join student design workshops and competitions, which taught me a lot about teamwork and communication and broadened my horizons as well. What I love about design is finding different ways of solving complex problems. Looking for the best, simplest, and most user-friendly solutions. I have advanced spatial intelligence and the ability to see things pragmatically, which defines the way I think of the product. I love the diversity of designer’s work and how it integrates various professions together. How it links theory with praxis, traditions with new technologies and practicalities with aesthetics. I am looking forward to learning new things and new challenges. I want to help people and ease their lives with the results of my work. Besides that, I love to travel and to do it slowly. Staying in one place longer instead of ticking off the checklist is the best way of getting to know different cultures and its traditions I believe. But my most adored moments are the ones when I just am in nature. After a day of the hike, sitting on a hillside in front of the tent. With a tin mug of tea watching the sunset behind the valley. With no other people around, just admiring nature and being part of it.
